GIVING TO YOUR HOME DEPARTMENT
The Department of Textile and Apparel Management is grateful for the generous gifts of private donors, who are alumni, friends, industry and foundations. They recognize the importance of supporting our students, faculty, program and facilities and that such support assists us in reaching new heights of excellence. With shrinking dollar support from the State, every year the need for private funding becomes more critical.
Opportunities for private giving include:
- Scholarships, assistantships and fellowships for our outstanding students
- Funds for faculty development, endowed professorships and chairs
- Endowed funds and unrestricted support that will enhance the programs in Textile and Apparel Management, enabling them to evolve relevant to the times
- Gifts that will allow for expansion and renovation of facilities and to purchase state-of-the-art equipment and computing technology for the Collection Research Center for the Missouri Historical Costume and Textile Collection and the Apparel Technology Laboratory.
Several ways to support the outstanding Department of Textile and Apparel Management is through gifts of cash, corporate matching gifts, planned gifts, testamentary gifts, gifts of life insurance, charitable trusts, securities and real estate.
We hope that you will designate your contribution to your TAM home. To do so, go online to the MU Alumni Homepage, choose “other” and then fill in the TAM designation in the comment field.
When you join the MU Alumni Association, we hope that you will use the HES referral code. That way, a portion of your membership dues will help fund the alumni scholarships for HES students.
