The Department of Textile and Apparel Management takes great pride in the students who have graduated from TAM over the years. TAM alumni are contributing their expertise to the public and private sectors around the US and many foreign countries. The college relies on these former students for advice, leadership, and assistance in continually enhancing the quality of its programs. Opportunities to become involved are endless! Please visit the links below to find out more about these opportunities, alumni resources, and college events.
The University of Missouri Textile and Apparel Management Group was created to help expand the network of people and ideas needed to support individual growth and foster collaboration. Open to all MU TAM Advisory Board Members, Faculty, Alumni, Students and Friends.
Alumna Jennifer Ouellette is the model of what a successful young entrepreneur should be. She combined her talent and creativity with the passion and persistence required to be a growing presence in the fast-paced, competitive fashion industry. Her work was exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London; and, she is featured in the MIZ-ZOU commercial 2009.
The Department of Textile and Apparel Management is grateful for the generous gifts of private donors, who are alumni, friends, industry and foundations. They recognize the importance of supporting our students, faculty, program and facilities and that such support assists us in reaching new heights of excellence. With shrinking dollar support from the State, every year the need for private funding becomes more critical.
