Bio
Cheyenne Staib is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Textile and Apparel Management. She received her Master of Science in Fashion and Apparel Studies and a certificate in Social Responsibility and Sustainable Apparel Business from the University of Delaware. At Mizzou, she teaches courses on the product development track, including patternmaking, draping, CAD, science of textiles, and softgoods quality evaluation. She also manages the TAM labs and advises undergraduate students pursuing the apparel product development track.
Passionate about curriculum development, Cheyenne is committed to incorporating relevant fashion industry technology in her courses. Cheyenne’s research interests include enhancing product development students’ spatial visualization skills, 3D apparel design technology, innovative product development teaching pedagogy, functional design, and sustainability.
